Narratively having Ever Given getting stuck in 2021 to set up Hormuz in 2026 is great foreshadowing. You want your audience to understand the basics of international shipping in a lower stakes context so you drop the real plot without a lot of saggy exposition about the minutiae of cargo logistics.

Yeah it's sort of killed my interest in buying BluRays for anime now, outside of having a complete Jojo collection and Hathaway/UC Gundam things.

Apparently it's not the done thing anymore according to @migon.bsky.social I noticed there were none on the Stone Ocean BDs which was around the same time IIRC.

The 2nd half I love, the ending is a perfect swan song for Kotetsu's career, very bittersweet 🥲

While I love the idea of the buddy system I'm not overly fond of the new heroes and Fugan & Mugan were kinda lame villains as well.

I finished rewatching Tiger & Bunny 2... Always an emotional rollercoaster. I do think the first half is quite weak, initially when it released I was so enamored with the fact that we even got a sequel but after watching it again those first 12 episodes were a bit of a slog.
