They are likely to attack when you're nearby. After attacking, they run away since they don't have a lot of health. If one of their friends is attacking you, they may also run away to alert others to your position. They are most dangerous in groups.
This way, the experience is unique every time, without sacrificing the hand crafted creative human input which we think makes games awesome.These masked creatures are programmed to follow each other around. If they see their friends being hurt, they will start attacking you.
