This feels like a really bad move - for Sheffield Hallam staff and for the sector more broadly.

Putting pictures of animals on our currency would be "deeply depressing," say the Conservatives.
At some point do we reckon the government might stop wasting public money trying to ineffectually charge all and sundry with "terrorism"?
Shabana Mahmood MP ~ @ShabanaMahmood X.com I have approved the Metropolitan Police's request to ban the Al Quds march. I am satisfied doing so is necessary to prevent serious public disorder, due to the scale of the protest and multiple counter-protests, in the context of the ongoing conflict in the Middle East. Should a stationary demonstration proceed, the police will be able to apply strict conditions. I expect to see the full force of the law applied to anyone spreading hatred and division instead of exercising their right to peaceful protest.
Gentlemen, you canβt protest against the war here! Thereβs a war going on!
Of course, it will always be remarkable how very far to the right, much further than the actual "centre" party, the Labour "centrists" sit, not least because of their instinctive authoritarian paternalism, which the whole Labour Party would do very well to try to shed.
From the Tehran Times - photos of the school CHILDREN killed by an AMERICAN tomahawk cruise missile. The headline: TRUMP, LOOK THEM IN THE EYES

The biggest terrorist in the world did this.
It was a privilege to be in the chamber earlier to witness this incredibly powerful and effective speech from Charlotte Nichols.

1. Are you currently using an AI tool for work-related tasks or projects? * Yes * No, but I would like to (PLEASE SKIP TO QUESTION 7)
My employer asks me to complete a survey on AI usage for which this is the first question (required):
Please stop posting the $1bn cost of war per day BS
The cost of the weapons they are using alone is $1-1.5bn a day
The cost of repairing the damage received is 2-3x this
A cost greater than $5bn a day
The economic cost is 3-4x greater than this
The cost is $20-25bn a day
One of the excluded systematic reviews is the York systematic reviews commissioned as part of the Cass Review itself. NHS England excluded from its evidence review a systematic review produced for the very process this evidence review is supposed to implement. It's a joke.
These people think so illogically. Trans women were transed out of being the gay men they βreallyβ are, and, next theyβre going to go prey on WOMEN in bathrooms??
The reviews used to justify this excluded nearly 97% of all studies from inclusion in their analysis. This is an absolutely obscene hatchet job by the NHS specifically created to eliminate access to hormones for trans youth.
New MP Hannah Spencer was given a police escort after an anti-hate demonstration turned violent. The Green Party MP had made a speech at the Greater Together Manchester event on Sunday afternoon in Piccadilly Gardens.
I try very hard not to use the word Orwellian too much but itβs the best adjective for the mauling of language at the start of this BBC News report. ββ¦ an anti-hate demonstration that turned violentβ. www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...
A trans person drawing on a statue with chalk got comment from the Home Secretary and coverage on TV and in all the main papers.
A female Green MP being harassed and abused in the street by transphobes gets nothing...
#JustProtectingWomen
Youβd think in this era of βMPs face increasing dangerβ there would be more outrage at newly elected Green MP Hannah Spencer being assaulted by transphobes but itβs nowhere to be seen on BBC News app even if you search her name
Jo Cox was killed by a man like that guy harassing Hannah Spencer
In my opinion, Labour are failing to deliver their promised ban on conversion therapy because any legally robust definition of it would show that the NHS are doing it to trans people, and implicate this government in the practice. 4/5
*Half* of all UK media reports about Muslims contain negative bias, according to a new study, together with widespread "sweeping generalisations".
"The highest rates were recorded by GB News (39%), The Telegraph (32%), Daily Express (24%), The Times (22%), The Sun (21%) and the Daily Mail (20%)"
No report in the Guardian about a woman MP being attacked on International Womenβs Day by transphobic fascists after just a week in the job.
They have these βnewsβ items though
The face of the anti-trans "pro-woman" movement right here. Violent men harassing a woman.
I'm laboriously moving my blog posts over to my new website.
Here's one I moved today. Soon I'll write that blog post on how EduCognitivism read studies on studying techniques and then remade lessons in their image.

#BBCBreakfast headline at 6am: "Iran continues to fire missiles and drones at targets in Israel & across the Gulf, signalling Irans determination to fight on"
No mention in the headlines of the US & Israel (and their attacks), giving the impression its all down to Iran.
