I can't believe I've been making a roguelike mining game with fantasy elements and only today learned that the mineral cobalt is literally named after GOBLINS! ⛏️

I noticed some players have a small icon right after their names. I saw the raid symbol, then a cocktail glass, and something else I can't remember.

I actually have a ton of SFX files I got from Humble Bundle over the years, but the voice acting is something that always stuck in my mind.
I guess I'll just leave it out and try to compensate with a good UI that makes things easy to read.

I see your point. So far, it really seems that when it comes to AI-generated content, it is better not to have the feature.

I get a bit worried because I only have coding skills and game ideas. I don't have the money to really invest in learning to create audio/visual assets. :/

I completely understand and agree that for most cases (like big studios and indie devs with studios and employees), this is a big no-no, and with good reason.

But if it's either pay the bills or hire a voice actor (or designer) for a game that might not work out, is it still just as bad?
