Just over $200 to go as she had to buy food with some aid. Desperately needs power turned back on. paypal.me/MsSoniaD or cashapp $spunkylilminx #HelpSky #UrgentNeed
Anytime I tell a doctor I have long covid they empathize and then it ends there. I'm lucky in that I'm trained to read and understand research papers but overall we're all fucked
Re supposed end of the Target boycott: itβs 100% bullshit. See statement below from an *actual* leader of the initial DEI boycott.
Even if true (to repeat, itβs not!), itβs not up to any small group. Target has fixed nothing + compounded its DEI sins with ICE complicity. People are done with it!
I can't wait to get a massage on Friday. Like the end of this week CAN'T come soon enough.
DARVO stands for
Deny;
Attack;
Reverse Victim and Offender.
For instance: βI never pushed you! And if I did, it was because you deserved it! Youβre always doing things on purpose to upset me and make me angry!β
It recently came to my attention that a friend who escaped an abuser wasnβt familiar with DARVO, an acronym for understanding how abusers operate. So weβre all going to have a little education tonight:
A large golden doodle facing away from the camera, with his nose in the air. His coat and especially his tail are extremely fluffy.
Fluff level: off the charts
I cannot stress enough how narrow the channel is in the Strait and the fact that like. Two guys with a bass boat, a shoulder mounted rocket launcher, and a decent sense of determination could hold the thing for long enough for 6 more bass boats with 12 more guys to show up and fuck up your day.
Politicians move on but war lasts for decades.
Yes, hello, is that God? Yeah, hi. I have a complaint. You gave me this brain thatβs designed for finding berries and avoiding lions and now people are βjust circling backβ to see if we can βmove the needleβ on βkey initiativesβ? NONE of those things are berries.
Ah, Amsterdam, never change.
I wrote about One Piece: Into the Grand Line and what it means to adapt a story that has only gotten more detailed since it was originally told: www.crunchyroll.com/news/feature...
Happy OPLA 2 Day!!! β οΈπ΄ββ οΈ
I am reminded of the time in private practice when, talking with another attorney in a divorce case, we agreed that βFacebook and Twitter are the worst goddamn things to ever happen to family lawβ
Been checking in on the furry drama and the latest one I saw was βThis guy cheated on his girlfriendβ and I dunno man that one sort of seems like the type of shit you donβt make a Google doc about and just sort of deal with amongst yourselves.
Wait, Pokopia is Animal Crossing X Animal Crossing X Minecraft??? I have never wanted a switch more than now

The U.S. Green Party is basically a vehicle for whatever grifter wants to try the most to increase their book sales and social media following every 4 years.
Commissions open :D
Author With One New York βTimesβ Best Seller $49,000 $30,000 from book advance $14,000 from teaching two retreats $5,000 from narrating own audiobook Iβm trying to manifest more abundance, but Iβm really feeling the income streams have dwindled. I have over 800,000 Instagram followers. Before, if I wanted to do a brand partnership on social media, $10,000 was an easy get. Now itβs, like, $500. I pretty much live from a bucket of savings.
Also: checks out
this whole thread is fascinating to me because
yeah, it does feel like there was a time when writers could live off their writing. Now writing is assumed to be practically free.
Murders in the Rue Morgue was a parody, I have found the post and the website about it!
The site linked is here

And it's really rather good fun, some eyebleedingly bad prose, of course
I forget the term but there's a specific word for parodies that outlive the thing they're parodying (or imitiating). Foghorn Leghorn survived long beyond Senator Claghorn. Much of Alice in Wonderland is parodies of Victorian children's lit.
I'm gonna bet Grammarly doesn't have in-house.
If they do, they should be yeeted into the sun. Yes, that requires extra energy, but the extra certainty is worth the investment.
NO NO NO YOU DONβT

This is delightful which of course it is because itβs Tim Curry dammit but it contains two earth shattering revelations for the Curryverse and they are
1) he was considered for Ian Malcolm in Jurassic Park
2) he read the screenplay for Silence of the Lambs and wanted to be cast as Hannibal Lector
It's 2004. The US is mired in a pointless war in the Middle East. There's a new Nintendo handheld. Taking Back Sunday is headlining the Warped Tour.

A headline reading βCamel pageant thrown into chaos after 20 competitors disqualified for using hump-plumping injectablesβ
Yes everything is terrible but letβs not lose sight of the fact that someone has written the Headline to End All Headlines.
