Iβm so sorry Nitasha.

A word about my latest feature for The Atlantic: Though itβs about sleep, I am hoping itβs not a *typical* story about sleep. I despise most stories about sleep. Why? Glad you asked... 1/7

Been a while since I shared this. The book's out soon--March 11--so banking a bunch of preorders would be a tremendous help.
Breaking News: The man accused in the Gilgo Beach serial killings was charged with a seventh murder.
Oh thank you Kevin! Youβre too kind
- hey hunter
- yes, dad? what is it????
- could you pass the mashed potatoes?
- oh for cryin out loud
I appreciate that Biden let Hunter sweat it out all through Thanksgiving weekend before finally pardoning him. Thatβs some masterful passive-aggressive parenting there
Thanks!
Still processing this wonderful praise from one of my favorite authors. Thank you @lauralippman.bsky.social ππ»
No comment except that itβs awesome
Last night on the family group chat
Picture shows a pair of laboratory scissors in process of cutting into a DNA double-helix (not to scale).
Sure, CRISPR-based gene-editing has revolutionized what we do in the lab, but what no-one talks about is how difficult it is to find the tiny scissors when you accidentally drop them in the middle of an experiment.
My deepest thanks to Harper Perennial for making this new update happen so quickly β and as always my thoughts are with the families. 2/2
Lost Girls has a new edition, on sale May 14, featuring a new 25-page epilogue on the astounding arrest of a Gilgo Beach murder suspect whoβd been hiding in plain sight for more than a decade (and all the reasons that arrest didnβt happen years earlier). a.co/d/eUW0dQZ 1/2
New from me in @NYTmag: a complete year by year breakdown of the failures of the Gilgo Beach murder investigation. Everything they needed, they had almost on Day 1. What took so long to find a suspect who was in plain sight, exactly where they always thought heβd be? www.nytimes.com/2023/10/19/m...
