To be fair to him, he's hardly played. But when given opportunities, he hasn't taken them. He's also not showing much in training otherwise he'd be on the bench more. Realistically though, would we pay money for someone else just to sit on the bench, and the increased wage which comes with that.

Yeah, largely agree. Some nice touches from Traore and Jarvis had moments but overall they disappointed against a team made up of 18 year olds
Admittedly, we were well off the pace and no-one will be forcing MPs hand after that showing but I thought United's U21s were excellent. Passing with purpose throughout the whole 90. Always looking for the forward pass. Props to Maz and Gill though. Both worked their socks off.

From the small sample I've seen, he's no better than Ness. Platt, Macari, Rod and Bedeau all ahead of him. He's 5th choice. But, better to have him for squad depth on probably a small wage contribution. Likely better than any youth teamers.
Definitely. I maintain he's comfortably the best keeper we've had over the last 5-10 years outside of Bass and Patterson. If he didn't have those deficiencies in his command of area and distribution, he's be nowhere near League Two

Also Brooks - same, would have liked to have seen more but we're in the position where we don't have the luxury of being able to bed in younger players. We're in a 'win now' situation. That's why we end up letting our youngsters leave and some end up playing higher than us down the line.
