imagine a cancel-proof network state merging with a longevity network state. or some artistic ns merging with some catholic ns, and so on. In that sense, startup societies can be seen as unbundling and network states can be seen as rebundling.
An important network state corollary I didn't see enough discussion is merging. In the same way that decentralized societies reduce friction to fork conflicting or misaligned communities, they also reduce friction for the merge of complementary and aligned communities.
Finally finished Exit, Voice, and Loyalty by Albert Hirschman.
Awesome book and a good foundation for anyone thinking about innovating on startup societies and network states.
