So I just heard about Gamma Readers from watching a Brandon Sanderson video. I guess there is a precedent for that. I might do a similar thing with The Widow’s Monster, because I’m already identifying some major changes I’ll be implementing

PSA: the big spoon is not bigger than the other spoon when fitting two spoons together. I petition we change the language when spooning to “concave forward” and “convex transposed”. It would clear up this misnomer and remove potentially belittling terminology and power dynamics

Ooo, good question! Is there major plot stuff changed? I sent a few specific scenes to the same readers after I changed them, or just told them what I’d changed to see what I thought. Did you get feedback from an editor after the changes?

Nice! I don’t really hear his name come up much when I hear dark or grim dark fantasy, but that’s good to know!. The size of his books is definitely intimidating 😂
