Currently re-reading The Dark Elf trilogy, starting with Homeland. I first read it years ago, and my new series, The Baneseeker Chronicles, is loosely inspired by it. So far, it's quite good, I have to say, just as good as I remember it to be :)

This past week, I’ve been polishing a novelette set in the World of Arvelas, titled Kasaril. I’ve revised 4,897 words so far (the full story runs about 15,000 words).

Ah, I love your optimism :) It turns out that my 8 y-o is already quite the reader. He made it in the top 10% of top readers on Goodreads last year ;) He's showing me how it's done!

I always sleep better when I read before bed time :)

It used to be 30 minutes or more, and now, as a parent of four young children, it's anywhere between 1 minute to 30 minutes, rarely more, something no reading at all...

Just read this today:
"My children's life is my childhood's dream... but that was the whole point."

I like it... I really really like it. Makes me want to do even more for my children.

Now that my upcoming book is done, I took a pause, and now, I'm having a hard time getting back into writing... doh!
