For sure! Really hoping I vibe with the format more afterwards, have a lot of locals who are really excited about it and would love to be able to have more fun playing the format with them. Hopefully the CC bans are successful in refreshing the format, but I'm a little worried LSS won't do enough

idk maybe just feeling a little bitter and frustrated with the devs being imo pretty out of touch and a probably just a little bit of burn out setting in

and I'm so tired of hearing about how Aurora will come back. What about any of the Mystic heroes (Zen and Engima both got huge amounts of points from them failing to ban cards in a reasonable amount of time) or dare I say Iys or Lexi coming back??

No mention of how Cindra basically would have LL'd already without the modifier and how Verdance (who was a perfectly reasonable deck before Super Slam) got 500 points in one season bc she happened to get broken right as she hit 1x points feels really bad.

CC has been stale for months, and the decks that are good have a few too many 90-10 matchups to make me feel good about the meta.

in a weird spot with #fabtcg right now. I don't love SAGE as a competitive format, I find it honestly pretty boring and one dimensional. Hoping PEN will bring some more relevant decision points and depth into the format, but pretty worried about it coming up short esp with how hard it's being pushed

feel like the opposite is true for the most part, a lot of people leaving MTG because of the shift to such a goofy and pun heavy tone ended up coming to #fabtcg for a more serious competitive game and now to have Scooby Doo references etc in SEA into this just feels a little weird

I really like Lyath and Kayo but overall it feels like LSS kinda has a disconnect with what the playerbase wants aesthetically. It really just feels like a couple people at LSS pulling really hard for overly pun heavy, goofy, referential sets when idk if I've ever met someone who was asking for that
