The credits are finally rolling on "Return to Silent Hill." Verdict: 19\% on Rotten Tomatoes is, if anything, generous. Between the wooden acting and all of narrative filler, the real monster was the pacing. The Nurses were the only ones who knew their lines—mostly because they didn't have any.

The truth is out: Mary is gone, James has lost his grip, and we are currently sitting in the rubble of a resolved plot. Yet, the timer says we have 32 minutes of "bonus content" left. This isn't a movie anymore; it’s a hostage situation. I’ve solved the mystery, but I'm not allowed to leave?

Laura's creepy doll a wasted opportunity. If they really wanted to explore the protagonist's fractured psyche, that doll should have been a Kuato situation. Nothing says inner demons like a psychic mutant growing out of your chest. Open your mind, James. Literally.

Finally, the Nurses have arrived to save the third act. Twitching, faceless, and significantly better at their jobs than the protagonist. It’s a beautiful, synchronized dance of medical trauma and stop-motion nightmares. If only the dialogue was as sharp as those scalpels, we’d have a masterpiece.

It’s like watching someone try to navigate a maze while they’re actively setting the map on fire. At this point, I’m just waiting for the fog to file for a restraining order.
