Easy stuff. One way, donors make more money, the other way donors make less money. Pass it around and vote accordingly.

I'm in WA, where we vote by mail or drop box. I get my voters' pamphlets 3 weeks ahead, and my ballot a week later. I study up at my kitchen table and at my leisure. It's a system designed by Republicans. Everyone should be able to vote this way!

Flying into Trouble plus Friday Funnies #1 Here’s this week’s cartoon from The Economist. I particularly like its composition and playful spirit. The sight of munitions scolding a dazed Uncle Sam offers comic relief from the deadly serious bus...

Family of Kentucky man killed by police in 2024 files excessive force lawsuit The lawsuit claims a KSP trooper and sheriff’s deputy used deadly force instead of deescalation when they shot the man, who was experiencing a mental health crisis.

Family sues over fatal shooting of mentally impaired burglar armed with shower head. "Travis Pratt was 25 when he was shot by Kentucky State Police Trooper Bruce Kelley and Knott County Sheriff’s Deputy Wesley Bolen on Sept. 9, 2024, in Littcarr." www.kentucky.com/news/local/c...

Search-and-rescue crews were β€œflying blind” trying to rescue survivors from deadly tornadoes that hit the Midwest last week.

Why? Because Kristi Noem hadn't approved FEMA’s $200,000 contract with a tornado-tracking tool.

But she had time to spend $220 million on anti-immigrant ads. Priorities.

Yes. I'm aware. This federal government does not want me to vote and wants to make voting hard for me. Naturally, I vote accordingly.

I kid you not... The same White House that forgot that invading Iran might lead it to close the Strait of Hormuz, is now arguing (through Peter Navarro) that war with Iran is a good idea because it'll prevent Iran from closing the Strait of Hormuz.

Because our "leaders" get lots and lots of money from arms manufacturers and war is how they make a living.

Very fair Q to this administration of perpetually disingenuous chucklefucks:

Would they spend a day or two or three’s worth of war πŸ’° to ensure these voting IDs they insist everyone needs are in the hands of every eligible voter in the USA long before midtermsβ€”no matter what it takes. If not, GTFOH

I live in Washington state, with mail in voting. I do that stuff these days just in case, but my state government wants me to vote and makes it easy for me to do it. Should be a model for the nation. FYI our system was designed by Republicans.

We, the public, are not the "we" in that sentence. The "we" is he and other rich folks selling to us at higher prices. But then, the GOP is now fully opposed to ordinary Americans and our silly little concerns.

So do you think you and the leadership could stop fighting super majorities of blue voters on big issues so we could win a damn national election and stop going through this crap?

#GretaThunberg: As the Trump administration wages illegitimate wars across the world, killing countless people, he is also strangling the Cuban people, deliberately, methodically and openly.

The pedophile Trump, himself, bragged about it. He said it like it was something to be proud of.

If Republicans made it easy and free to obtain suitable ID, it would be one thing. As it is Republican voter suppression also includes widespread efforts to make it much harder, more time-consuming, and more expensive to obtain ID.

I used to recommend the military for lots of young people - make a living, learn some stuff, grow up a little and go to college on the GI Bill. I haven't made that recommendation since 2002 and I never will again.

On at least 23 occasions, federal agents in Minnesota detained people solely on the basis of their race during Operation Metro Surge. That’s according to Federal Judge Eric Tostrud.

Another word you might use for it is "looting".

"This appears to be the first administration to take such widespread advantage of taxpayer-funded military housing to accommodate political appointees who do not have a direct connection to the military..."

Chris "Wrong" Trump Sec of Energy tumbles the price of crude oil with wrong information only to cause it to spike after retracting his "X" comment. Can America not see how absolutely unqualified this admin - from Top down - in unqualified to lead. They are destroying our economy & our government.

Enough is enough.

We just learned that some Republicans in DC are now pushing for even MORE cuts to health care.

Endless money for war.
Endless money for corporate tax cuts.
No money for your health care.

I don't think they believe us yet, and they certainly don't think our numbers matter. But I do think that's why the party's "review" of 2024 is still buried - it makes it clear that genocide in Israel is an issue big enough to cost elections. Remind them.
