a magnetic whiteboard with four cards pinned in a square formation: 'color theory', 'just make glowy gradients', 'labyrinthine patterns as a gradient', and 'video + sound recording' and four more cards pinned so they're hanging off the bottom, all of them have some kind of colorful gradient imagery on them.

oh yeah, here are the cards i pulled this time. surprisingly cohesive, so i'm going to work on a bunch of gradient and color related things. (the four at the bottom i pulled manually (not randomly) as color references)

ok, so, i wrote a while back about my project where i made cards out of all my blocks on are.na. well, i ended up making a virtual card pulling thingy for them, and i am pretty pleased with it! (it's part of my "lab".)

the logo for "glassdoor," it has single quotes around a condensed bold gothic logotype. the left quote looks to be mirrored horizontally from its correct orientation, and the right one is aligned higher than it should be by the height of the quote shape's "tail."

i came across this logo today. those single quotes seem so wrong. wtf is going on here? i know there are type nerds on here. is there something i'm missing or did they really fuck these up so badly?
