it’s a safety precaution for the members to keep everything anon, can i ask why you think transparency of members would be more helpful?

Important Announcement we need to take second here to talk about what Slut Coven’s mission statement and scope is: we’re a group of (largely anonymous) cis women, trans women, and non-binary people dedicated to the safety of women on bluesky. this includes on and off platform behavior. with this said, please be aware that our scope in this is men who are harassers and predators. while over time this may change, at the moment we feel it is important to keep our aim true and our target narrow. we understand there will be some hurt and disappointment about this, also understand that as an *extremely small* collective it is important that we remain limited in scope to ensure that we are doing the best work we can for those we can help. thank you so much for your support, 🔪🩸

we don’t want to be the “joke police” but again it’s about perception and intent, this is a user who does not know you whose photo you were using (we have seen the whole thread, for the record) it’s in really poor taste. you do seem sincere, but really try to exercise better judgment here

your behavior is making people uncomfortable, it’s something you should be willing to change easily, rather than arguing with people who are explaining why it is not acceptable (ie “i use this program all the time”)

for the record, “you should smile” is a LONG-STANDING never warranted thing to say to a woman ever

several people have expressed discomfort with your behavior using their pictures in this way. maybe try pictures of celebrities. users are real people with real boundaries. i would keep that in mind

please email with the info so that we can review and investigate/ask any follow-ups (if we have them) and reach out w comfort levels on when/if we proceed

thanks for bringing this up, this is actually a conscious choice to keep the trans members of @slutcoven.bsky.social safe. the only public faces (myself & miriam) are cis, but there are several trans women and nonbinary members of the collective. please continue voicing concerns 🖤🔪🩸
