Struck a deal to contain Iran's nuclear program forever.
Didn't go to war in Iran.
DID IT ALL IN A TAN SUIT.
Excerpt from The Guardian story, featuring midterm candidates looking to change the Democratic party. Copy on excerpt reads: THE GUARDIAN: US NEWS HEADLINE: "'Are you willing to fight back?: Democrats ready to take on party's old guard ahead of midterms" Photo of Kat showcased holding a stack of yard signs. Copy below reads: "Another test case is Illinois' deep blue 9th District, where Kat Abughazaleh, 26, a progressive Palestinian American, is taking on a Democratic establishment she accuses of complacency and cowardice."
Excerpt from The Guardian story, featuring midterm candidates looking to change the Democratic party. Copy on excerpt reads: "Abughazaleh believes that Democrats have long failed to meet the moment of taking on the far right. For her and many progressive challengers across the country, countering the Trump administration is inextricably linked to combating the influence of groups such as Aipac and challenging the corporate status quo. Abughazaleh said: "I even see it in my own campaign where there are local leaders and elected officials that call me before endorsing one of my opponents, apologetically saying, I love what you're doing but I'm feeling a lot of pressure to endorse this way or the other. They feel that pressure in the first place instead of being able to stick to their values and it's a shame that we have a party that makes people feel like that." "I don't know how many times we have to keep doing the same thing over and over and over again of insisting that we have to be more moderate, that we have to move to the right," Abughazaleh added, arguing that policies ensuring affordable housing, groceries and healthcare should represent the political centre."
You don’t beat the far right with moderation. You have to confront it.
Career politicians are unequipped to handle this moment. It’s time for them to step aside.
The 37-hour bombing campaign of Iran in June cost an estimated $2.25 billion total.
We really just wanted healthcare.

Right?
Agreed. The Congressional republicans can make it all go away. But they're cowards.
With chaos and corruption oozing from the national GOP, it's great to see the Utah GOP starting to see some consequences for their compliance.
Utah's GOP continues to take orders from wealthy out of state randoms rather than listen to their own voters.
This is what happens when there's a super majority GOP led legislature. We have to spend precious time and energy on defeating idiocy instead of working on things like improving schools, ensuring workers' rights, air and water quality, etc.
Glad this stuff got killed - but what a waste of oxygen.
Utah lawmakers weigh breaking up the current 45-day legislative session into three 15-day sessions.
🗓️ A "budget session" in February
🗓️ Two "policy sessions" in May and September
Needs 2/3 vote in both houses to go on the 2026 ballot.

Never forget that Congress - controlled by the GOP - could halt all the nonsense at any time.
Learning moment: a survey of data from Twitter is not a well rounded and reliable bit of 'research'.
if anything, Utahns will be watching the Olympics instead of Super Bowl. We're all desperate for even a glimpse of snow!

If I were an incumbent in the Utah Legislature, I'd be very very worried about the November elections. They've forgotten who they work for. And the people are not happy.
Start by contacting your county clerks and secretaries of state and ask them how they will be securing free and fair elections and following the principles laid out in the constitution.
He’s the stupid people’s President.
