A Caterham in front of a brick built bus shelter, which is stacked full of books. It could be a scene from years gone by.

Today:
- Long hot Radox bath whilst reading MCN and Bike magazines.
- Ripping through Hay-on-Wye in the Caterham with the roof (such as it is) off.
- Cows & lambs are back out 🐄
- Simracing all evening.
- Discovered some of the local bus stops double-up as little libraries.

54mm white metal models of an Officer and Sergeant from the 33rd Regiment of Foot during the Crimean War, 1854. Painted with acrylics.

Pretty happy with the figures. Now to try and tie them in with groundwork and a bit of experimental scratch building. I wasn’t game to prime with the airbrush so applied Mr Surfacer 1500 Mahogany with a brush. We’ll see how it turns out. #histscalemodels #scalemodels

A few little details left to finish on the'49 Ford, but nearly there. Fitment hasn't been amazing (yay AMT) but it definitely looks the part. This was the look I was going for, 34 years ago...

I like this place way more than ‘the other place’ but still find it a little clunky…but I much prefer clunky over misogynistic, racist & homophobic…not to mention the often unchallenged verging on fascist…views that appeared on ‘the other place’…huzzah for the clunky…🥳👍
