A Caterham in front of a brick built bus shelter, which is stacked full of books. It could be a scene from years gone by.
Today:
- Long hot Radox bath whilst reading MCN and Bike magazines.
- Ripping through Hay-on-Wye in the Caterham with the roof (such as it is) off.
- Cows & lambs are back out π
- Simracing all evening.
- Discovered some of the local bus stops double-up as little libraries.
It's been a Good Day.

Always love a cheeky QI record, but this one was extra special with Dad and son in tow. V special night with the two favourite men in my life; just missing my bro and weβd have had the hat trick. Thanks for having me @qi.com
Get in! The new feeding station we put in, Craigievar, has had its first hedgehog customer. And no Mustapha Biscuit snaffling the kitten biscuits first. π¦
54mm white metal models of an Officer and Sergeant from the 33rd Regiment of Foot during the Crimean War, 1854. Painted with acrylics.
Pretty happy with the figures. Now to try and tie them in with groundwork and a bit of experimental scratch building. I wasnβt game to prime with the airbrush so applied Mr Surfacer 1500 Mahogany with a brush. Weβll see how it turns out. #histscalemodels #scalemodels
Terrible start for Spurs. Brilliant ending for Ipswich.π
It's a life sized replica of the current Royal Navy.π¬
A few little details left to finish on the'49 Ford, but nearly there. Fitment hasn't been amazing (yay AMT) but it definitely looks the part. This was the look I was going for, 34 years ago...

You ain't getting that in your airbrush.
Good purchase John, you'll enjoy that.
Churchill Mk.VII tank - scale model 1/35 Tamiya
Went to the hobby shop today for some paints.
I like this place way more than βthe other placeβ but still find it a little clunkyβ¦but I much prefer clunky over misogynistic, racist & homophobicβ¦not to mention the often unchallenged verging on fascistβ¦views that appeared on βthe other placeββ¦huzzah for the clunkyβ¦π₯³π
A red 1980 Lancia Beta Spyder.

Thanks Matthew, very kind of you. With 2 on the go I can paint one and focus on the other while it dries. That's my excuse anyway.πππ
Cheers dude. They're both really decent kits. Tamiya have a great knack of knocking out quality kits.ππ
Cheers Jim.ππ
