That first Survivor 50 episode did not disappoint, holy heck.
That first Survivor 50 episode did not disappoint, holy heck.
I will say though, Operation Bounce House did have a moment that knocked me fully out of it. I had to put it down and take a walk.
I can suspend disbelief for colonies on other planets and mechs and a whole lot--but not for teens covering 90s rap rock hundreds of years later. ๐
Finished Operation Bounce House last night, and I really enjoyed it.
I think it would be impossible not to compare Dinniman's other work to DCC at this point, and it doesn't quite hit that same mark for me, but it's a timely and interesting story--certainly worth the read.
A picture of the Steam achievement screen for TMNT: Splintered Fate with 79/79 unlocked.
Thankful for rounding out all of the achievements in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Splintered Fate.
I've been playing TMNT games for around 35 years, and this is the best one. I'll die on this hill.
I'm catching both Kyle Kinane and Roy Wood Jr. within a week of one another, and I also landed tickets today to catch Josh Johnson in a small venue.
The world is burning and everything sucks, but I'm feeling real pumped about those shows.
I was excited to hear there was a book club at work, so I joined.
Then I got my first book club email today. This month they're reading Mel Robbins.
So, yeah. I was in a book club once.
Did the same.
It's amazing how much it felt like a 90's comedy in 2025 (in the best way).
Thank you fam โค๏ธ We lost a real one.
I'm two steps from a caveman and the last that should drop a PSA, but it still feels worth sharing that in this new age of shit-tier AI--we have to be wary about what unintended consequences spitballing online can create.
A friend passed away this week (RIP Tom ๐), and it didn't take the rumor mill long to cook up some causes for death like murder and suicide. All unsubstantiated as of now.
But that didn't stop Google AI from picking it up & running with it--which of course got back to and greatly upset his family.
13/10, no notes.
First thing I aim to do in any No Mans Sky run is change my character to a Gek.
Something about playing a short, squat alien that communicates primary through farts--feels like playing the extraterrestrial version of Frank Reynolds.
Started my 5th or 6th run through No Mans Sky on the Switch 2. Really impressed with how well it runs on it.
About to catch the 1990 TMNT film in the theaters for the first time. Shell yeah, I'm hype!! ๐ข๐ข๐ข๐ข
It's no secret I loved the first Grounded. It's my favorite survival game and one of my outright favorites of all time. So, I'm absolutely dead center of the target demo here, but...
I fucking love Grounded 2 so far y'all.
Cartoon with corporate media asking U.S. Government how it would like "Control of Internet Speech" wrapped: Anti-terrorism or protect kids
t's amazing how this is from more than 20 years ago but very well could have been from today.
I just had a conversation over the weekend about how the first Black Sabbath album is still one of the best rock albums of all time.
Rest peacefully Ozzy.
Ozzy Osbourne being Ozzy Osbourne.
An incomparable legend.
This rules.
Screencap from the film Dazed and Confused where a character leans out of a car and states "Be a lot cooler if you did" altered to read "Be a lot cooler if they did"

The IDW run in general has been amazing! 1-50 is easily my favorite telling of the classic TMNT story to date, and Aaron jumping in recently has been incredible. ๐
"IT'S LIKE YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW ME, MOM. GOSH."
(Seriously though, that sucks.)
That feels apt for entering adulthood for sure. Also, I'm pretty sure that's a bible verse.
"When I was a child, I spoke like a child, I thought like a child, I loved Michelangelo. When I became an adult, I became more of a Donatello." - Corinthians, probably
See? That just told me more about you than Scorpio with a moon in Libra rising or some such ever could ๐
(Tell me your favorite Ninja Turtle ๐ข)
