Er, I’m an atheist. That doesn’t make me a fanatic. I don’t care what others believe as long as they don’t, either directly or indirectly, impose it on me. I have no interest in persuading anybody to my point of view.

Terrifying.

Joy. Between a father and son. That’s all.

Of course they aren’t dumb. Fun is great of course. But records are about pushing human limits and aspiring to greatness. That’s a very human thing.

I didn’t say that. I just said your use of the word ‘rotten’ in incorrect. But, then, I know I’m being very pedantic!

E coli is not American. In fact, America has stricter standards on pathogens such as E. coli than Europe in that the USDA demands there it is not detected at all. If it is, the product is deemed ‘adulterated’. I know. I worked in the food industry in the UK and now the USA.

It’s not ‘rotten’. E. coli is a coliform bacteria present in animals guts. There are controls to reduce the risk of contamination and monitoring to make sure it is detected if it does.

Ground beef is regulated by the USDA FSIS, not the FDA. Inspectors are parents in plants every day.

So, for those of us with maturing pensions bonds are screwed as well as the market now too. Great.

I don’t think you understand how this all works. All the automakers will struggle with this. Including American ones like Ford.

Yep. None of us will be buying cars with tariffs in them. Will just keep what we have.

Do you mean ‘offal’? Do people not know what that is so you have to say ‘organ meat’. Maybe it’s an American vs English thing, OR my age as I grew up with offal in England in the 70’s and 80’s. Steak and Kidney pie. Liver and onions at school. Heart and tongue lunch meats in sandwiches. Etc.

Coliform bacteria are a large group of rod-shaped bacteria found in the environment, including soil, water, and on plants. They are also common in the digestive tract of animals. Doesn’t mean that’s where they come from.

He’s worse than Neville Chamberlain with his ‘appeasement’. Look it up. ‘Do a deal’. LMFAO. Easy to do that when you give an aggressor everything. You want.

Great. But, firstly, I had to look up ‘obsequious’. So it’s a 2 for 1 today.

Agree mostly but interesting that there’s a clean energy boom in Texas, not because they believe the environmental benefit particularly, but specifically because it’s evening spot advantageous. So there IS some hope.

Because this is AI and not a real picture?

I don’t mean credit the people that made it with AI, I mean credit the photographer or label it as AI.

Some of the best foods are the result of preservation methods established before the invention of refrigeration.

Example #1:

Dry curing is a method of preserving meat that involves rubbing a piece of meat with a salt and seasoning mixture and allowing it to rest, reducing water activity.
