At this point, I did not know that I was about to see a digger in action!
Challenging terrain, wet bog, abundance of sphagnum and sundews. A lovely site!
The site was really wet (and so are my socks) but the summer has been dry like most of the UK. It's amazing how quickly peatlands re-wet after it's rained for a few weeks and how much they change in appearance.
A sundew looking like an alien, out of this world creature.
