Defo incoming! Feeling the pressure to “AI stuff” here in the UK too. I’ve seen a chart showing where in the public sector AI is being implemented and the use cases, probably just to share insight but would hate to see it being used in metrics as a measurement of success.

If you think the AI hype train gathering momentum now, just imagine if the US do manage to raise 500bn to spend on it! The pressure to see returns even quicker will be immense!
You’re not alone. I too spent far too many hours pushing pixels for mock ups. Most of the of the time in photoshop 🤦🏻♂️ .

Such sad news. I never met her, assumed I would at some point. When I started on a HMRC project in 2017, I almost instantly knew she was a formidable, passionate designer and followed her ever since! Thoughts are with her family and loved ones

The AI playlist feature on Spotify seems to work pretty well. I’m as skeptical as the next re AI use cases, but I was making something like this for a personal project, as I felt the usual suggested tracks, AI DJ and artist radios were a bit too predictable. This saves me some effort.
I see the irony of posting this on social media, via a phone.. but forgot I actually had this app installed. 😀

Really enjoying my current interaction design gig, after a year or two as a Service Designer. Feels nice to be closer to a digital product and getting into the detail. Grass is always greener mind, so I know this probably won't age well!
