AI & altered images mostly promoting Pauline Hanson are being generated by foreign agitators. #auspol

I thought this would be up a few people's alleys! I don't know how I hadn't heard of Andrew before - his new video is a prequel to a similar newscast he did over a year ago.
"Kyle Sandilands has broken his silence" "Kyle Sandilands has broken his silence" please name one time the dude has ever shut the fuck up
I like that you're thinking about this year's Christmas livestream this far in advance. Godspeed!
Not enough drugs, crime and violence to fill the hour
It's all the effort of one guy who specialises in "nostalgic feelings and retro vibes". And he proudly boasts no AI. It's INSANE.

The best way that I can describe this is it's a newscast from Dec '89, but not from this universe. An impressive months-long effort from Andrew Ball. Brought to my attention by @televisionau.bsky.social on @mediaspy.org. Seriously, nostalgia &/or presentation nerds, watch this! youtu.be/OmP-FQ1XbfQ
I know where it's come from, but I'm surprised that the copyright holders haven't taken action.
I don't know how they're getting away with uploading Classic Countdown! I'm not liking their swiping of Bert Newton Shows from Simon Owens, either. Although I don't think there's much Simon can do about it as, although we can all guess who he got the tapes from, he also doesn't own them.
I keep forgetting to post about this every July 19th.
From YouTube account "Stay Tuned!": "Hi subscribers, just a quick update. Earlier this morning my channel was terminated by YouTube. I contacted the company that issued the breach notices and they have kindly agreed to revoke them, which allowed the channel to remain active. However, this has come with a cost. All content featuring Number 96 has been removed from the channel. If you'd still like to watch the program, it is available on the Brollie website or on Foxtel through its Aussie Classics channel. Thanks very much for all your continued support."
I'm not feeling any sympathy for this YouTuber - what did they expect would happen when they uploaded a TV show that's still currently licensed?
I wish the TV news stories tonight would be introduced that way!
Kyle suddenly has more time to become a Professional Hero. (Edited to fit the other site's time limits.) sweetestplum.libsyn.com/a-full-nervo...
This would make for an amusing sequel to that Tropfest short
Manna from headline heaven:
It seems that Chris Lorax is now employed at Triple M. #LamentablePuns #MadAsHell
Donβt listen to TISM while at the gym.
My Bluetooth headphones disconnected after a flat battery, while my phone was playing the Great Truckinβ Songs Of The Renaissance album. The track? βDefecate On My Faceβ.
Fingers crossed that they survive any post-merger 'efficiencies'.
30 YEARS AGO TODAY: the songs of Fred Halibut and his little banjolele.
And Cashies still want $25 for it. Shit! What sort of arsehole would do that? #HouseboatHorror @tlschampagne.bsky.social
Good news!

NOTE: If you hear the N-word during tonight's State of the Union, it's either because someone in the audience has Tourette's or the president is speaking
And Molly Meldrum as The Stereotype
Live now. It's very odd watching a dash cam video that doesn't have swearing in it (hello @dashcamownersaus.bsky.social).
30 YEARS AGO TODAY: big F1 fan Clive James goes to Australia for The Clive James Grand Prix Show, at the end of which he gets rivals Damon Hill and Michael Schumacher together in lack of comfort.
