Just finished Star Trek: Academy, S1.
And you know what? I think this is the strongest Season 1 of a Trek show I have ever seen. Absolutely superb.
And SAM is the first time I've seen someone *like me* on a TV show--someone larger than life and full of love and joy and autistic as fuck. 💜😭💜

The funny thing about "I read classic, not your pornbrained romance slob" snobs is that a lot of those classics actually had been the "pronbrained romance slob" of their time and often been looked down on by establishment back then.
