I fear I am becoming more and more of a Godot fangirl. Considering to quickly start another project in UE to remind myself there are other engines with cool features too...

I never finished it, I just couldn't deal with the extreme damsel-ness of Rinoa, even as a teenager.
But now I've heard it being praised so many times, maybe I should try again 🙈 I mean, even still got the original CD somewhere. Still, original FFVII all the way for me <3 (and V + VI, I'm old...)
My body when I'm doing manual labor in the yard, plus training with the pony for 9 hours out in the cold, all on just a small bowl of muesli: "I'm fine, do I even need dinner?"

Actually our studio (including colleagues and bosses) was totally cool, the only mistake was being bought and being reassured that we should take our time, only to run out of time lol :D
I wish I could show what we made though - *almost* made it to the finish line!
I can really recommend putting your heart and soul into a project for 5 years, only for it to be locked away, secret and inaccessible to everyone else, so nobody can ever know what you have done for this whole time.

Like - destruction (2D) - we don't need to actually cut the actual sprite image into pieces to deliver the fantasy.
Just make the sprite disappear and make cubes appear to fall down (ofc then add JUICE)

It's also cool to realize how much trickery I already have in my toolbelt.
I don't need to actually create the thing the player thinks they see. I just make it look like it and feel damn smart about it 😈
