This is the kind of intrusive thought I get when playing video games (in this case, Hollow Knight: Silksong).

I just got a DM from someone that pirated my game.

They said (paraphrasing) that with hindsight the game was absolutely worth the price, and were asking my preferred avenue for them to buy it (Steam vs Itch).

I've gotten a lot of great DMs from players, but this one is probably my favorite.

This is the final entry in the birthday album series. I have completed my self-imposed challenge (to do this for 5 years), and I am satisfied.

Going forward, I look forward to branching out into other genres (mainly electronic) and making smaller and more frequent releases.

As someone that watches/listens to a lot of twitch streams, this comment hits really hard.

Today, I put the finishing touches on what will be my 5th annual NES-style chiptune album, to be released one week from now.

Making these albums has been a personal and primarily symbolic ritual for me.

I am glad to close out the series with (what I feel to be) my strongest work yet.
