Jian stopped for a moment and looked closer to him. His voice… the scent… it was all too familiar. “Mingsheng?” He suddenly breathed out.

He blushed a little. “You always know how and when to use the right words, hm?”

Jian asked and took Xi Bo’s hand softly into his. “Is there any chance that I can step into your realm and spend some time with you?”

“Oh I was so shameless” he held his hand in front of his mouth and chuckled.

“But you two would make a cute couple” he smirked. “It’s cute how you’re so protective”.

He fed him one and stroked lovingly over his cheek. “Is it delicious?” He asked and smiled softly.

Jian wanted to go to the market and walked along a trail. He was deep in his thoughts as he walked and accidentally bumped into a young, blind cultivator.

“Oh…” he spoke out and bowed shortly. “I’m sorry. I didn’t watch out” Jian apologised.

That’s so cute and a really great idea! I just need to wait 9 months for that.

It almost took everything out of his power to not flinch when he touched his cheek.

He swallowed hard. His throat felt dry. “I-I didn’t know that I had to tell anyone… I thought I could just leave and arrive when I want… can I not?” he asked and frowned a little.

“Why do I have to tell someone?”

Jian smiled and feed her one of those sweets. “Do they taste good?” He asked.

Jian nodded and smiled softly. “I will be still” he promised and closed his eyes.

He enjoyed the combing and sighed relieved.
“Maybe next time? Or we will go out after that?” He suggested.

He chuckled. “Thank you. I’m taking good care of it” he responded.

“You can also braid it if you like” Jian suggested.

Jian listened to him and nodded a little. “I understand… it’s okay… it doesn’t hurt so much anymore” he looked up at him with a soft smile.

“I’m fine. I’m sorry I worried you like that. I should’ve told you…” he spoke.

Popcorn is so underrated and yummy.

“Aww you sound very jealous” he chuckled. “It’s endearing to see how loyal you are to him” he smirked.

“According to your behaviour of a jealous wife, You two must be married then, right?”

You have? That’s quite interesting! So my baby will be safe with you, right?

“Hmm is my hair that nice? I washed it today” he smiled softly.

Sure! Please eat enough! But don’t eat too fast or else you will get a stomachache.

Jian smiled. “Open your pretty mouth” he spoke and took one in his hand, looked at Xi Bo.

Jian breathed out and took his hand back to himself, rubbing his wrist and frowned. “Y-Yeah… I’m fine…” he nodded and looked down at his hand. He didn’t dare to face him.

“W-What exactly did you think?” He asked quietly and didn’t move.

Jian gasped and looked at him with scared wide eyes.

“I-I’m sorry… I was just at the market in Qishan… I promise you, I’ve been only there…” he explained in a shaky voice.

“I’ll stay here and next time I will tell you when I leave…” he promised Wen Xu.

Jian shook his head and winced a little as he tightened his grip. “N-No…” he answered with a shaking voice.

“A-Xu… why are you grabbing me like this?” He asked and tried to get out of his grip.

Jian gasped and stopped, turned to him and swallowed. “Wen Xu…” he whispered his name softly.

But I also can play the Guqin” he answered him. “And to be honest… in my eyes, it’s very attractive when a man is interested in artistic things like this” he admitted with a soft smile.

“Not really anymore since I fled from my sect” Jian explained and froze for a moment at the second following question.

“Let’s not linger in the past and concentrate on the future, hm?” He asked and smiled cute at him as he followed him inside.

“Music hm? How interesting… I sing and dance.
