Well, an incumbent doesn't lose by 48 percentage points very often—and her vote on collaborating with ICE was the defining issue here.
Abolish ICE is a mainstream policy at this point and Dems who can’t get on board aren’t going to see much success. Meanwhile the Mayor of our city which remains occupied by ICE can’t even support that position.
