I've also gotten out the audiobook of Triple Sec which I'm going to listen to during Trans Rights Readathon.
I put a hold on this at the library and I'm super excited to read it!
So this makes 18 tattoos so far. I'm going to Roots Tattoo Convention this weekend so I may end up with another soon.

Then on Valentine's Day I attended Enamoured Books flash event and got this cute lil book and envelopes design which perfectly fit this little gap

I realised that I haven't shared the last two tattoos I got here.
First up is Gengar which I got in late January from Rach (who did my cat Pokémon tattoos) from The Fox's Mark
Good things to share.. I got a new tattoo, went to a lot of cool events over Auckland Pride, read books and have been making more of an effort to rest.
My foot pain hasn't gotten any better. Got xrays done a couple of weeks ago but still haven't heard back about results. Work have finally got me on light duty but getting that sorted was an exercise in frustration.

I used to complain about how much my feet hurt but after the pain I've had the past couple of months that was nothing.
It also doesn't help that it puts me in a grouchy mood which isn't great when your job is customer service.
I need to get new shoes as (quoting my podiatrist) mine "are rubbish"
Work are currently letting me wear regular sneakers instead of my safety shoes (provided I stay on the shop floor and away from heavy things)
Any suggestions for shoes for someone who does 20,000+ steps per day?

Have made plans for things I want to attend this month - a packed calendar but fun!

The hate part of my love/hate relationship with summer has increased with this being the first summer of perimenopause.

Used a cumin, chilli and lime marinade (one of The Lucky Taco ones)
Three tacos on a plate. On the tacos is slaw, shredded beef brisket and guacamole. There is a quarter wedge of lime in the middle on the plate.
Marinated some beef brisket overnight then put it in the slow cooker this morning before I left for work.
Shredded it, mashed up an avocado with some lime & hot sauce and dumped a bag of slaw into a bowl.
Then heated tortillas in the pan.

I’m going to restock all the shirts that have run out this week, folks have been asking! I’m back in the studio from tomorrow, it’s the slow period, and I just found out I most likely have a disc bulge which is going to make work and life really hard. Sales appreciated x
The one in Central Auckland closed a year or so ago. I would miss going into the one by work even though I don't buy games from them as often as I used to.

I've taken my work shoes home with me to show at my appointment because I don't think they're doing my feet any favours. We have to wear steel toe boots/shoes for work, I wear the sneakers version but they tend to wear out really quickly.
And why can't we caterpult them to the sun
Got sent home from work early and to take the day off tomorrow because my foot pain had me wincing and limping which had customers asking if I was okay.
I should probably think of what to tell the podiatrist tomorrow that isn't just "my foot is fucked up"
