Misclassifying workers makes NJ less affordable. It raises costs for workers and law-abiding businesses.

With @dol.nj.gov, we’re announcing a settlement with PDX, an auto parts company, for misclassifying its delivery drivers. Proud to stand up for NJ’s workers.

Our office is aware of, and is monitoring, the incident at Temple Israel in West Bloomfield, Michigan. Our hearts are with all those involved. Hate has no place in our community, and we must all unite against it.

When someone cheats the insurance system by filing a claim for benefits to which they are not entitled, they are stealing from the rest of us.

Insurance fraud is not a victimless crime—we all pay.

Thank you to NJ Coalition Against Human Trafficking for organizing their law enforcement conference ahead of the FIFA world cup. A great opportunity to discuss our preparations and coordinate with partners to combat human trafficking with a survivor-centered approach.

DOJ’s settlement with Live Nation is wholly inadequate.

It doesn’t do nearly enough to address Ticketmaster’s illegal conduct or the cost to consumers.

New Jersey fans, artists, and venues can rest assured knowing that we are continuing this fight.

We owe so much to the freedom fighters who crossed the bridge in Selma 61 years ago.

But there’s so much work left to do.

We must show the same resolve in standing up for our rights today.

It is deeply humbling to be in Selma this weekend to honor the 61st anniversary of Bloody Sunday.
