I've been on the butt end of feedback for 8 years now. Which means two things:
1. My ego has been completely humbled
2. I know what effective feedback looks like

Most company websites online are still people selling their services.* These are very straightforward, sometimes personal websites.

🧑🤝🧑 Don't ask the opinion of the whole team
"Too many cooks spoil the broth." This proverb has been around since the 16th century. We've known for over 400 years: Design by committee never works.
😋 Your taste isn't the priority
Not every choice will align with your personal taste, and that’s okay. Focus on whether the design works for the intended audience, not just your preferences.
🎯 Start with why
Say why you have problems with something. By articulating those concerns, you pave the way for better solutions.
🔬 Don’t micromanage
Point out the problem, but leave the fix to the designer. If you dictate how to solve it, you might miss out on a better idea we bring to the table.
🤫 No feedback is the worst feedback
Silence is not golden in the design process. We can’t adapt if we know nothing. You don't like what we made? No problem, just say it, we won't be hurt (Okay, maybe a little at first, but we'll suck it up; we're professionals.).
