Two more of our local legislators who received Legislative Champions of 2025 Awards, Senator Sara Love and Delegate Julie Palakovich Carr at this year’s Bike Maryland Symposium.
At this year’s Symposium we had presentations such as the one by Chris Eatough, the Bike/Ped Coordinator from Howard County and also advocates met with their legislators and we awarded some of our legislators with an award for being our 2025 legislative champions, pictured is Delegate Dana Stein.
At this year’s Bike Maryland Symposium, we had leaders from MDOT in attendance. Joe McAndrew, Assistant Secretary for Project Development & Delivery provided opening remarks. It highlights the collaboration between MDOT and bicycling advocates working together to improve safety on our roads.
