My favorite place to write and think: the New York Library of Performing Arts at Lincoln Center. Today: rewriting some of the 3d Act of Secrets of Gara, avatar visual references for the 2nd of four Hero avatars, planning Saturday’s rehearsal. Good times!

Last weekend’s playtest was a big one. Every time we bring this many people together, Secrets of Gara becomes a little more real. Huge thanks to our dev team, collaborators, and especially our playtesters — your feedback & energy is what makes this possible! Sorry for the occasional yeet 😅😂😱!

Development on Secrets of Gara is coming along so well! Our talented team is busy building worlds, creating avatars, putting our systems together. The cast and I are rehearsing and this is shaping up to be something special!

3. And here’s the best part: we met Khang and Waffles IN virtual reality. Though scattered across the country, we gathered in a shared virtual space, held a deep, personal discussion, and workshopped actor blocking—something that’s impossible to replicate on Zoom.

I lived right across the street from that church for years. Truly stunning architecture and design, inside and out. They shot a 30 Rock Scene there once and I got paid $200 so they could put a big spotlight on my balcony. Fun times.
