Unfortunately, this trip isn’t to England. But, I’d love to get there soon!

I will be in Europe this spring, but this particular trip is not to Europe.

Apparently, the major airlines have hedged fuel costs for now, and plane tickets have not yet started to increase much (I've been watching these fares for a couple months now, and they haven't moved). That said, I suspect things will start to sky-rocket soon, thus grabbing the tickets now.

With a family of four, you pretty much have to close your eyes and sign on the line when buying tickets... 🫠

On the other hand, our oldest is going to be a senior in HS next year, and this is probably our last chance for an epic trip before he leaves the house, so it 100% will be worth it.

Me: Just purchased plane tickets for an absolutely epic family vacation this summer. The kids have been asking for years to go to a particular bucket-list destination, and finally we're able to say "Lets do this!" This will be EPIC!

For me the Siglent SDS1104X-E ticked all the boxes- has the right performance specs, supports probing a bunch of protocols (e.g.- SPI, I2c, etc), and also has a web live-view that I can add to OBS as a browser source for my viewers to see on stream. Something like the Rigol DS1054Z would also be...

That looks fantastic! As for oscilloscopes, it somewhat depends on what kind of projects you're doing. For a good all around scope that you can grow into, I'd recommend something with 4 channels, at least 50-100MHz bandwidth, and 1GSa/s or higher real-time sampling.

Correct- you are OK. The issue only affects the three plugins listed in the linked incident report, and only for downloads on the dates listed (which were all in Feb of this year).

No. Plugins currently must be manually updated by the end-user.

Some accounts on our forum were recently compromised due to password re-use and used to post malware.

Please review this list to see if you may have been affected, as well as our other changes in response to this.

I've not had my office this clean in years. On top of getting the space ready to build the electronics streaming station, I also picked up a "quiet" small shop-vac to begin using the desktop CNC machine. Now I just need to get a couple drawer sets from Ikea for some storage...

I'm excited to start using it more.

And.. the electronics workbench streaming station emerges. @elgato.com sent me a bunch of goodies (not shown yet) for the ultimate live-streaming station for electronics work. Stay tuned as we build it up, then work on some fun projects!

I'll def be picking this one up! I've been meaning to switch to Resolve for a while now.

Update- all of my stuff is now out of the office (short of my desks, computers, wired stuff, etc). My initial reaction?

And by "put-it-back" I mean put back on the things I use/need, donating or tossing the rest.

Today is the day. Time to completely clean my office. Going to take the "Take-everything-out-of-the-office-and-put-it-back," approach. Once the office is clean, its time to set up the electronics workbench streaming station, and start some fun stream projects!
