The app is free to try. The free tier scans the last 30 days of your inbox.

You can grab an early-supporter lifetime license for $19. It unlocks unlimited history sync and supports development.

Download it, break it, and give me your brutal feedback.

Paperweight uses your inbox as a discovery tool:

- Bulk unsubscribe from mailing lists
- Find every company that has your data
- Get active breach alerts (via @haveibeenpwned.com)
- Generate GDPR deletion requests

Desktop app. Local-first. Open source.

Paperweight is live πŸ—Ώ

A local-first desktop app that scans your inbox to map your digital footprint, then helps you take back control and delete your data.

After a short cleanup session:
- 69 mailing lists unsubscribed
- 487 emails deleted
- 60.7 MB reclaimed

At this point you can assume that any data online will get exposed at some point. You can't stop breaches, but you can avoid becoming a target.

That's why I'm building Paperweight, an open-source, local-first app to help you clean up your digital footprint.

Super grateful for the opportunity and all the people who've been part of my journey! No plans yet. I'll take some time to reflect and build a couple of personal projects that have been on my mind.

I'll be around and continue to serve Ethereum ✌️

After almost 5 and a half years, I've resigned from my role at the @ethereum.foundation. I spent most of my time on the annual conference Devcon and more recently on increasing adoption of Privacy.

Spent the weekend building Paperweight πŸ—Ώ

While Moltbook just exposed everyone's emails and API keys to the internet, I'm taking the contrarian bet. A local-first desktop app to manage your inbox. Respects your privacy. Open-source.

Star the repo or DM if you want to try it

Giving it another try to be more active here! I know a large part comes from network effects. Anyone active folks I should follow here? Or if I'm following you in Twitter and not here, drop a line!

Why don't we see more consumer hardware, TVs, personal devices, health/sleep/fitness trackers, etc. doing the opposite...

At this point, it feels like non-tracking devices could easily be sold as premium products. I'd happily pay more for that

The contrast from the rust brown rails and the green, nature background are amazing actually πŸ‘Œ

Agree! I think it should be the other way around. Dump Nordpass if you're using that. I don't even think they're open-source

Hot/software wallets vs Hardware wallets is fair, but depends on your use-case (its all trade-offs). Not familiar with cakewallet, but isn't that similar to Metamask?

Can argue MM somewhat stagnated (UX) compared to newer wallets, but don't think it's fair to criticize their security practices

Curious why projects like Metamask, or Bitwarden are on the list here?

Music Journal FM Music Journal helps helps you transform your music practice. Like Strava for your music practice.

I'm planning to publish an initial MVP for my music journal App. Stripped it down a bit in terms of functionalities to focus on shipping first. It's been taking a lot longer than expected already. So committing to shipping out a first version by the end of this week!

Nothing beats the sound of a guitar, but I love my uke's! There's such fun little instruments and my low-G tenor still gives a reasonable sound
