As a disabled Vietnam veteran It has been my experience that anyone who is gung-ho About war has never served in a combat zone. Those who have experienced service in a combat zone and witnessed the full horror and tragedy that is war are never the same.
I could get mad about Trump lifting sanctions on Russian oil, but I'm old enough to remember when US intelligence said a Russian GRU unit was paying bounties to kill American and coalition forces in Afghanistan. But Trump "didn't know anything about that".
A lot of us veterans are not ok right now.
Do not EVER ask a veteran if they killed someone.
Do not ask us if we wish we could go fight again.
No human should experience war. Period.
Their guy said he'd pardon the J6 insurrectionists--and then shockingly did it.
I haven't heard any potential Democratic candidate promise to pardon everybody arrested for protesting ICE.
That'd go a long way toward showing me they're opposition and not just controlled.

As a disabled Vietnam veteran i find this level of disregard offensive, particularly when offered by someone whose past rhetoric has marginalized those who served. Once again a new low by someone who seems to have no bottom.
