Cleaned my studio bc I couldn't find my red thread. The joke is on me and I had actually put it away where the thread goes, a thing I had assumed I did not do, so I looked everywhere else first 💀

I understand the concept of these but I find that the concept of.... two regular pins will accomplish basically the same thing lmao

You do not I fucking promise you!! Regular pins are just fine, and drawing on your stitch line costs zero dollars and will do more for your pattern matching than any other thing

Also I dont even know what the u shaped pins are lmao, I just cross pin the shit out of my pattern matching

I have never done that in my life, I have drawn like a stripe or a plaid out and used little registration marks for complex patterns, but copying seems excessive tbh! Might be handy if you struggle with visualization I guess

The current plan is to go over basic principles, different methods using the physical pattern itself, different types of patterns (stripe, plaid, print) and then covering some concepts specific to certain types of garments

If I were to run a panel on pattern matching, are there any burning questions on it that people would like to see covered?

I am learning to 3d model, and trobbio's head is my first project! Still have to add some rigging and slice him up, but I'm very proud of baby's first model
