i always felt uncomfortable on the band’s behalf for when they had to wade through the creek in their jeans and play their instruments inside the water. i don’t know what it is with this water performance trope. won’t someone think of the instruments?
keane’s “somewhere only we know” is still such a banger song. and yes, the ghibli adjacent forest spirits in the video may have played a role in why i have such nostalgic feelings towards it.

The cool thing about making a #customfont for a game is, that you can add rare glyphs for the names of your fellow devs—and give them your own optical twist.

I have a number of fonts, that are not complete enough to publish commercially, but are still pretty usable. At the moment I pushed fonts like this on my site as a free download. I came across a few open source font gits and now i’m considering doing this instead. What do you think?

At the end there is so much going on. It is elevating and disorienting—I love it. For the history recap in #codenametyphoon I tried to homage this type of escalation.
I haven’t seen Minako Yoshida’s “Light’n up” in alot of #citypop playlists. It’s such a good tune tho. I’m enthralled by the outro. They play the post-chorus as a vamp and continuously add more melodies on top.
