I was a bit confused this morning reading UK posts on the wind while listening to it blasting us here in Toronto. Not often we have the same weather at the same time.
That seems high to me, but compared to £14, $11.99 is low! 😳
I saw a brownie listed at an eye-popping $15 at one place recently. Mind you, it comes with cream and other toppings. Still, I thought that was expensive until I saw UK pricing in that thread.
Yes, that can happen. It takes awhile to process and when it finally does, it can hit hard. Putting your body to bed sounds like a good plan!

No more complaining about meal prices here in Toronto! Some of the prices in the thread are eye watering. 😳 It’s about CA$1.80 to the £ or just double the prices for easy conversion.
😳 Lots of talk here in Canada about food inflation and our politicians are responsible plus rapacious Loblaws. But I don’t think a bagel costs that much here in expensive Toronto! Or at least we get a salad or fries (chips) with it.
