Beautiful. Our poor daffs have taken a battering last few days heavy rain and wind 🥲
Yesterday was my monthly Watercolour Nature Journal Class & we did daffodils! Having previously been terrified of any kind of paint, I'm beginning to enjoy watercolours. Also love exercises like sketching without looking at the paper, not taking the pencil off, or drawing with non-dominant hand...
Great book. Highly recommend
Buy yourself a book, it comes as a present :-)

Yellow slip hazard sign with a bottom like a split banana skin
Clever banana skin design on this slip hazard sign.
Royal Bank of Scotland banknotes £5/£10/£20 showing animals mackerel, otters and squirrels respectively.
We've had beautiful wildlife banknotes in Scotland for a while. Little works of art
Robert Jenrick appears to think that Rachel Reeves decides what goes on our bank notes, not the Governor of the Bank of England. If he doesn't know what roles the Chancellor of the Exchequer carries out, is he fit enough to be an MP?
At least publishers like @ofmooseandmen.bsky.social and @littletollerbooks.bsky.social find new authors
How will they choose what goes on what value note?
Yes. Lots small shops prefer it cos it goes in their pockets not fees to banks etc.

I wonder how the judges would respond to this style on Landscape Artist of the Year?

Book cover which features a black and white photo of people juggling and unicycling. Text reads: 19 March
What’s it like to run away with the circus? Cardiff, Wales, 1983. A bunch of university dropouts and unemployed hippies find themselves united by two things: a talent for juggling and a desire to live a different kind of life. They decide it might be fun to juggle their way out of the rat race by founding a circus, which they call ‘NoFit State’. How does this group grow from its lowly origins as buskers on the city streets to become one of the most admired and respected contemporary circuses in the world? Stephen Glascoe, a member of NoFit State’s amateur community group ‘Splott State Circus’, takes us behind the scenes of the drama, stress and joy of a radical modern circus. Based on in-depth interviews with the founders of the circus and many others who have been part of its history, Circus Rebels charts the challenges and triumphs of underdogs turned Welsh creative powerhouse.
One week to go!
'Circus Rebels: The Inside Story of NoFit State' is coming 19 March 📚
