Hopped out of bed to finish part two after thinking about it all afternoon.

Tossing up between sticking to Python for Advent of Code this year or making the jump to Go. I feel like long term Go could be the play. It's a tough one as I am not sure if learning a new language with something like this would be good...
I'm in this rut where it feels like there is no games I can confidently say I am actually any good at. Even down to bowls, I had one of my worst games ever on the weekend. Truly sucks but all the games I want to play more and get somewhat good at are demoralising as all hell to lose at.
Played my first 2xko game in days due to lobbies being sparse at my rank and got dumpstered on and booted up deadlock. Actually had a decent time and might play more.
Doing all this IT work has me designing my own homelab so that I can rip in when I actually buy an old PC I can throttle a bunch of storage into 🤣

Changed my team around to be Jinx/Teemo as I'm really liking playing jinx as almost a rushdown character got to silver today finally.
Update: It did, so I will hopefully be running up some 2XKO gaming during the weeks if I don't get too tilted!
I might have found a setting in OBS that might fix my ping issues when streaming 2XKO, I might try a quick stream over lunch to test
That was all a farce, I am actually the greatest Teemo/Jinx player ever.
In all honestly, I think it is just probably with all the stress of finishing up at my current job it's put me in a bad mood which then affects my gameplay. I am really hoping that starting at the new place next week helps. I want to play locals, I want to travel interstate and hang with friends.
I am in a shithole cycle of sucking at 2XKO, then moving to suck even worse at SF6 and then the only other game I have been playing is Skate which is now boring to me. I can't escape it. I just keep moving back into ranked queues because I want to be better but I just keep moving backward.

Started the demo of Skate Story last night after being in love with the visuals ever since the trailer came out. This game is going to be amazing. I can't wait to get my hands on the full release!
Thinking of doing some casual 2XKO streams to get through the week and then devote weekend to speedrun at this point. I got the bottom rank in 2XKO so it could be a fun way to try and progress.
This was probably the best PAX I have been to. I spent a good chunk of my time outside the event playing/watching fighting games and hanging out with the coolest people.
