A multicolored quilt made of of scraps with the words WE KNOW WHAT WE SAW staggered down it with a large beautiful eye centered between the words. The eye has a rainbow camera aperture as the iris. It is quilted densely.
Another resistance quilt finished this week. The eye is my own design, the letters are a fpp pattern by QuiltByNight, the rounded corners and black binding are meant to resemble the phones we the people are using to document the horrors and disprove the government’s lies about what they are doing.
I also want to keep working on them! I am trying something janky with a clamp on a chair but I don't trust it. And the ergonomics are terrible.
Ongoing- trying to figure out how to make these straps work as watch bands. The tongue of the buckle pulls on the weft and deforms the pattern over time. #tabletweaving

Woven fabric with a tablet woven selvedge on the left. Left selvedge is alternating triangles in russet or copper and black. Body of the fabric the same russet warp as the selvedge. Weft is uneven handspun in a variety of coppers, patina greens, dark greens, and oranges.

Beginning to warp on a small inkle loom, similar to the windhaven fiddle loom. The wood is a shimmery curly maple, the pegs are dark walnut.
