Strips all wired up and soldered to now dead bulb. New LED strips use about 500ma.
These were the LEDs I used. Something I bought years ago and never used.
Huzzah! Massive improvement in the car! Completely reversible since I just reinstalled the bead bulb with wires and the card attached.
Project Light Up the Car: I was super tired of the very dim dome light in my car, so I gave it an LED retrofit. All done with stuff I had lying around and a massive improvement inside the car.
TBH i was mostly offline for Jan/Feb and it was a good thing. Still don't have any apps installed on my phone anymore.
