There was a Marilyn Manson show at the Orpheum going on sale an hour later. At the scheduled time, I walked up to the front and promptly walked out with 2 front row seats.
Similar story. I stood in line at the ticket counter in the basement of the downtown St Paul Dayton's store for 1996 Paul Westerberg State Theatre show. I got there 30 mins early, and I was about 20th in line. It dawned on me the people around me were not here for that. >
