With my last final graded, I’ve survived my first semester as an Assistant Professor!
Presentations included the FrankenVertebrate's morphology, hypothetical evolutionary lineage, ecological role, and behavior. Each creation was given a common and scientific name! Some groups also chose to feed their descriptions into AI art generators, here are some results.
Last week my Vertebrate Zoology students designed FrankenVertebrates. They combined adaptations for a given habitat and presented how each trait was suited for their habitat. Each creature was also given a backstory. Some of their drawings and AI creations posted with permission!
