On my desk today: The first book the Zoological Department at what is now the NHM purchased in 1842.

Histoire Naturelle des Crustacés (1832) has clearly been very well loved by the curators and researchers over the years.

Working with these collections can be so surreal sometimes!

life before The Humbling

Soooo excited for my first London Autumn. So many trees in my area that will go orange. Sunsets along the river Yes Please.

No one remind me that my MA starts in a month.

On this fine Saturday I am overwhelmed with nostalgia for autumn term of my third year of undergrad.

used a card catalogue to locate some bound tracts with missing location metadata today and it felt like an escape room

Is there actually no-one in the UK Library landscape who wants to become Chair of the CILIP LGBTQ+ Network, or are we just not getting the message out.

I can't continue - way to much going on, but without a chair, the network folds... If you've been mulling it over, now is the time to get in touch!
