"We lived this twice." 🀣
☝️That's what happens when your AI assistant doesn't have amnesia.

I've been experimenting with ctx (ctx.ist ) to make my AI less of a goldfish and more of a companion that remembers what I have already forgotten.

The quality of what you build with agents is directly proportional to the quality of context you give them. Not the process. Not the ceremony. The context.

The ctx Manifesto - ctx: do you remember? ctx provides temporal continuity across sessions

:)

But it's a real issue, and as anything profound… It's a tradeoff.

ctx is file-system-based by design, by contract, and by Manifesto at ctx.ist

But… I have ideas.

Will create a ticket and share it here.

Thanks for the comment.

I guess that’s an information architecture issue.

But there is also upcoming work on archival, consolidation, and enrichment of learnings, decisions etc.

And I guess a parser to export it to sqlite (for example) should be trivial to program.
