I have had mild to moderate asthma since I was a kid. Both allergy and exercise-induced. The feeling of asthma attacks stay with me, but more so the knowledge that nationally and in NYC asthma disproportionately affects Black and Latino/a children esp those in high poverty neighborhoods. 🧵
