To be clear; it’s not just Freely. All streaming services from traditional broadcasters are anti-viewer. They’re all less convenient than the cable and sat services were 15 years ago, and we can’t accept that.

The energy policy of a centre-right Conservative Party (if such a thing existed now) should be to build solar, wind, and grid battery storage. It’s not inherently a left wing position.
Tories literally say that renewable energy increases people’s bills, when fossil fuel prices are very clearly raising the costs of people’s bills because of wars in areas of the world where there’s a lot of fossil fuel production.
It’s opposite day every day with conservatives. Always has been.

I wrote in this recent blog that warships and aircraft carriers are easy targets in modern war. And therefore they’re essentially just toys. They serve no real purpose that can’t be done better by some other type of military equipment. And the news proves the point.
