Okay yeah confirming it now. As of April 1st, I will have begun the process of moving :) NOT an april fools joke. All this means is I'm going to be hyperfocused on the move. Thank god I booked holiday time for the easter week

status update: I just got given the date of entry for the house I'm buying. It's surreal. All of the effort over the past few years to save while on apprentice wages and all the research is finally paying off. Little working class me is making big moves on my own

VERY late update but the house viewing went well and I've put down a (conditional) offer that got accepted pretty much immediately. It's now a waiting game for the scheme I'm using to approve the house itself and then I should HOPEFULLY have the keys by the end of March. We moving!

the original concept

the 2024 final version of the concept/ The illustration is stylised in a way where Shadow looks rendered and the rest of the image looks like a wireframe model

The original concept and way I finished it in 2024. You can tell that there was a vision I didn't know how to execute. The 2024 final version is cool regardless and I did end up getting it printed with a silver foil effect where the white lines are

There are sparks flying out underneath him, his jet shoes are activated, and there is a glowing light trail from the lights of the motorbike and his eyes. Behind him and the building is the moon with the looming silhouette of the Death Egg with glowing red eyes. The sky is filled with stars.

This inspired me to go back to an old concept I did back in 2024 and finally realise it to the original idea

I didn't process this as a comic strip for your characters at first and immediately thought of my Guide Dog (golden retriever) who is ALSO called Rodney in the first half. I now cannot stop picturing it

i spent all day making this

I also have an ACTUAL slablet as a backup in case either of my screen tablets are broken beyond repair

The set up works like so:
- Surface pro (SP) as pc
- triple monitors plugged into first SP usb c port
- docking station plugged into second SP usb c port
- Huion plugged into docking station

This lets me switch out devices super easy. My beefy pc is remotely connected to when I want to play games
