I find myself wondering all the time 'what would my coping mechanism even BE if I really gave up drawing?' and I come up with only bad answers

Truthfully Every time I'm drawing to vent, I feel so grateful to my past self for paying zero attention to haters.

the serotonin boost of being able to just draw, get an image out of my brain and onto paper, and have it look comprehensible, is so MASSIVE.

im so glad i ate-shit-breathed Art for as long as I did. fuck my teachers and parents for criticizing how much I doodled. im an adult now and my doodle skill is my pride and joy. they really tried to tell me that I'd regret 'wasting so much time on it'
